Dr ERICA MALLERY-BLYTHE
She has been researching biological effects of non-ionising radiation since 2009, and now educates medical practitioners regarding health effects of this kind of radiation. She also provides guidance for institutions aiming to protect vulnerable groups such as children and those with EHS.
She is the founder of PHIRE (Physicians’ Health Initiative for Radiation and Environment).
Dr MARTIN BLANK, PHD
Dr Martin Blank earned PhDs in physical chemistry (1957) from Columbia University and in colloid science (1960) from University of Cambridge. He joined Columbia University’s Dept of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics in 1959, retired as Associate Professor in 2011 and is now a Special Lecturer. His research has been on membranes, transport processes, excitation, and recently on health effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). His book on health effects of EMR, “Overpowered: The Dangers of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMF) and What You Can Do About It” was published in 2014.
During his tenure, he had short-term appointments at 11 universities around the world, as well as at five industrial research labs and the US Office of Naval Research. He also organized many meetings, including two World Congresses on Electricity and Magnetism in Biology and Medicine, 4 Erice (Italy) Courses on Bioelectrochemistry, and he started the Gordon Research Conferences on Bioelectrochemistry. He has been Chairman of the Organic and Biological Division of the Electrochemical Society, President of the Bioelectrochemical Society, President of the Bioelectromagnetics Society, and has been on editorial boards of Journal of the Electrochemical Society, Bioelectrochemistry and Bioenergetics, Electromagnetic Medicine and Biology. He was editor of the 2009 special issue of Pathophysiology on EMR. He has published over 200 papers and reviews, as well as twelve edited books on electrical properties of biological systems, including the Proceedings of the First World Congress on “Electricity and Magnetism in Biology and Medicine”, “Electromagnetic Fields: Biological Interactions and Mechanisms”. He was one of the organizers of the online Bioinitiative Report, and edited the 2009 update in Pathophysiology.

Dr ELIZABETH EVANS MA, MBBS, DRCOG
Dr Elizabeth Evans trained as medical doctor at Cambridge University and Imperial College, London. She now practices as a NAET Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique) Practitioner, treating patients with many conditions including EHS.
Dr Evans is the Medical Adviser to SSITA (Safe Schools Information Technology Alliance), who work to raise awareness of the health issues from WiFi and other wireless technologies in schools, nurseries and colleges. Through SSITA she is in daily contact with scientists and campaigners who are active in this field, as well as parents of children who have been adversely affected by WiFi in their schools.
She is also a member of PHIRE (Physicians’ Health Initiative for Radiation and Environment). Dr Evans has lectured many times on this subject, including at the Get Wired conference in 2013.
In 2012 Dr Evans co-founded Stop Smart Meters (UK) and appeared before the Energy and Climate Change Select Committee overseeing the UK smart meter roll-out in April 2013, on behalf of Stop Smart Meters (UK), to give evidence on the health risks from wireless radiation.
Paula obtained her MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Sussex in 2012. Her particular area of research was computer game addiction. Since then, Paula has concentrated her work on the effects of excessive screen exposure (smart phones, tablets and computers) on the developing brain, in terms of addiction, attention deficit, memory impairment and social and emotional issues.
Paula has given seminars and talks in schools, to parents concerned with their children’s preoccupation with screen life, as well as to businesses in the City of London with emphasis on screen management, well-being and productivity in the workplace.
Paula lives in Sussex with husband James and their two teenage sons, Niall and Lorcan.
ROY RIGGS BSc
Roy first studied arboriculture at Newton Rigg Agricultural College Cumbria and spent his early life as a forester. He then joined the police service; spending most of his 25 years service in the Soho district of London.
After retirement he undertook studies in the field of dowsing and geobiology in Germany with biophysicist Dr. Luger Mersmann and Adolf Packeiser a graduate from the Institute for Research in Geobiology.
Roy is also certified by the International Institute for Building Biology and Ecology as an electromagnetic energy consultant.
He has had articles published in the Namaste magazine, The British Society of Dowsers quarterly journal and the University of Geology and Geography Vilnius Lithuania.
Following in his late father’s footsteps he has been a professional dowser-geobiologist for the last 12 years.
Guy is an experienced physicist and engineer who is passionate about reducing electrosmog, not least, because he is electrosensitive.
Prof VICTOR NEWMAN, PhD
Innovation Practitioner and Visiting Professor in Innovation at Open, Greenwich and CCC universities, mentor to SILK, CIO to Institute for Study of Zombie Organizations.
Victor is the Executive Chairman of Beneficial Environments, a leading Digital Risks specialist. He was formerly Head of Innovation Strategy & Economics at The Technology Strategy Board and Chief Learning Officer to Pfizer. As an early advisor to Cisco on the Internet of Things, Victor is now warning businesses about the risks from wireless technologies and explaining how innovation can happen within a new reality of EMF health risks.
